Other Ingredients: Kava rhizome and root extract (200 mg extract per cpasule), and the vegetarian excipients, acacia tree gum, maltodextrin, cellulose, silica and magnesium stearate. Vegetarian capsules are made from plant cellulose and water only (no gelatin). Each capsule contains 200 mg of Kava extract which provides 60 mg of kavalactones.

Description: Pharma Kava® is prepared from the rhizome and roots of Piper methysticum plants which are grown chemical-free in the South Pacific islands of Vanuatu 5.

We use only pharmaceutical-grade alcohol to extract our Kava (never industrial solvents). All alcohol is fully removed from the finished extract.

Caution: The FDA says a potential risk of rare, but severe, liver injury may be associated with Kava. Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have, or have had, liver problems, frequently use alcoholic beverages, or are taking medication. Stop use and see a doctor if liver symptoms occur (unusual fatigue, abdominal pain, appetite loss, dark urine, pale stools, yellow eyes or skin).
